By creating an account or using the GoldenFolder service ("Service"), operated by GoldenFolder AB ("we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
GoldenFolder is a document archiving and expense management platform designed for Swedish accounting firms and their clients. The Service allows users to upload, organise, search, and store accounting documents in compliance with Swedish law, including Bokföringslagens chapter 7 (seven-year retention requirement).
To use the Service, you must:
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
New accounts are eligible for a 90-day free trial with full access to the features of your chosen plan. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial period, continued use of the Service requires a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue trial offers at any time.
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on your selected billing cycle. All prices are exclusive of VAT (moms) unless stated otherwise. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and no partial refunds are issued.
You agree not to use the Service to:
You retain full ownership of all documents and data you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant GoldenFolder a limited licence to process and store that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the documents you upload are accurate and that you have the right to store them.
GoldenFolder commits to retaining uploaded documents for a minimum of seven (7) years in accordance with Bokföringslagens chapter 7. Prior to the deletion of any document, we will notify the account holder and provide an opportunity to export or extend retention. This guarantee is conditional on your account remaining active and in good standing.
All software, design, trademarks, and content provided by GoldenFolder as part of the Service are the exclusive property of GoldenFolder AB and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand elements without prior written consent.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GoldenFolder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any direct damages shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the three months preceding the claim.
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access to the Service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance where possible. We are not liable for any losses arising from downtime or service interruptions beyond our reasonable control.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or engage in conduct that may harm GoldenFolder or other users. Upon termination, you will have 90 days to export your data before it is permanently deleted.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Swedish courts, with Stockholm district court (Stockholms tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by displaying a notice in the Service at least 14 days before changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
